Attorney Michael J. Kizis
Michael is the owner/managing attorney for the Law Office of Michael J. Kizis. The focus of his practice is Estate Planning & Administration, Elder law and Real Estate.
Attorney Kizis is a licensed Title Insurance Agent with the Pennsylvania Insurance Commission and an Agent for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company. His Title Company, Blue Star Settlement Services, offers title insurance and closing services for purchases and refinances. In addition, Attorney Kizis offers real estate legal services such as Real Estate Contracts, Family Transfers, Deed Preparation, Rent to Own/Installment Sales Agreements and Life Estate Deeds and Leases.
He received his undergraduate degree from Penn State University and his law degree from the Duquesne University School of Law (1997). He is licensed to practice law and issue title insurance in Pennsylvania. He is also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Elder Law Section.
Aside from his law practice, Michael is also a commercial rated pilot and a Class-A Tournament Chess Player. Michael and his wife Monica were both born and raised in Northeastern Pennsylvania and live in the area with their 4 children. In his spare time, Michael enjoys exercising, spending time with his family, flying airplanes and a good game of chess.
